Thomas M. Cooney, DPT, NSCA-PT, is an
Ithaca College, Russell Sage College and Sage Colleges graduate. He is
the co-owner of Physical Therapy Associates of Schenectady, P.C. and
offers over 27 years of clinical experience in areas including
industrial rehabilitation, acute care, general physical therapy and
orthopedics. He has extensive continuing education in orthopedic
physical therapy, functional capacity evaluations and health care
administration. He currently presents education and training programs to
area businesses and is involved in all aspects of return to work
management. Tom treats patients at the Pittsfield office. When not
working in the clinic he is involved with administration duties for
Physical Therapy Associates along with working as an adjunct professor
teaching a business administration leadership course for physical
therapists at The Sage Colleges as an adjunct professor.

I have worked in a physical therapy office since 1997. Over the past ten
years some of my responsibilities have included billing, collections,
transcription, patient service, insurance verification and most
recently, handling the computerized checkbook responsibilities.
Shenna
Burke, PTA, CMT
I graduated in 2001 from Berkshire
Community College with an associates degree in science. I later went on
to receive my massage therapist certification at BCC in 2003. I am also
certified in beginner mat pilates and pre & post natal pilates. In my
free time I enjoy running, hiking, rollerblading and watching the Red
Sox.

Alayne
Glass-PT
Alayne graduated from Russell Sage
College in 1983 with a bachelor of science degree in physical therapy.
She has attended continuing education courses in orthopedics, manual
therapy, including joint and nerve mobilizations, and specialty courses
for headaches, balance, functional mobility and medically complex
patients. Currently she is treating in the Lee and Pittsfield offices.
She specializes in the evaluation and treatment of musculoskeletal pain
with a special interest in chronic neck, back and headache pain.
Alayne also has experience in nursing home, hospital and home care
physical therapy. She loves water sports, beaches and has taught
swimming including adapting strokes for disabilities.
